Kirstine's Healing Journey

We are friends and family of Kirstine Dryburgh, a woman who always puts herself before others.
She has a daughter, that she's brought up single-handed, despite all the trauma and loss thrown her way. She has worked her way up the career ladder, has been a foster parent to teenagers and has given her home when others have been made homeless. She's bubbly, funny, passionate and driven.
When you need her, she's there. Now she needs people to be there for her.

NEWS NO ONE WANTS TO HEAR
In the Summer of 2017, the excitable family dog, Charlie, jumped up on her. Where his paw landed, she found a lump. Convinced the Charlie has physically traumatised her breast, she went to the doctors and was sent off for a mammogram, ultrasound, and biopsy.
The results came back a Stage II breast cancer. There are 2 separate tumours (one is a grade III, the other a grade II) in the left breast and cancer cells present in the left lymph node in the armpit. The doctors told her that it wasn't Charlie that caused it, but had been there a while. Charlie was the one who brought it to attention. Talk about a dogs purpose!! Without Charlie, who knows when she would have discovered the lump.
They offered her a combination of treatment including a double mastectomy, radiation, chemotherapy and hormone therapy. After witnessing her mum, Joan and her spiritual mum, Pam, wither away from conventional treatment, she decided to look for an alternative route.

The following is from Kirstine Herself:
From cancer to healing:

Cancer wasn't sent to kill me, but to awaken and heal me.

In October 2017, I had an ultrasound which had shown the tumour had grown slightly and in April 2018, it had doubled in size and spread to 8 other lymph nodes. The oncologist and radiographer wanted to send me to have immediate surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Again I refused, I had to trust my gut instinct and what God had spoken to my heart about the journey I was about to embark on. He promised he would heal me and give me a miracle, I just had to listen and trust him, even when the odds and statistics are against me.
(Boy, oh boy were they against me!)
All my research found people died sooner from the horrific pharmaceutical treatments. I have also met many people who have cured their cancer naturally with no western medicine. This confirmed to me that I was on the right path, as scary as it was for me some days.

On the 24th April 2018, I set off to Thailand as part of my bucket list. I booked 2 weeks in Phuket with my wonderful friend Alfie, who kindly let me stay at his and created an amazing 2 weeks of fun.
I then set off again on my travels to Kho Phangan for 1 week for a detox and yoga retreat, to support my choice of holistic healing of my body and cancer. I choose this route because I believe that the poisons of conventional treatment for cancer are what killed my mum, not cancer itself. When I was diagnosed I was terrified, I didn't want to die like he; she was 52 and I am 46. I refuse to go the same way.

During my detox week in Kho Phangan, I became more unwell than healed, due to a lack of knowledge/experience in the treatment of cancer. Due to this, I ended up going to a local hospital here on the island. They found that there was inflammation in the breast, along with leaking in and around the nipple area. This news led me to dig even deeper and find other ways to heal myself from this cancer.
I was on an island where people where healing every day, this island is a heavenly place. I was too stressed and anxious to return to the UK at this point, as I feared the pressure from family and friends would go against my gut instinct and belief of God guiding me to my miracle. I didn't want to cave into their fears, I had to walk this out.

I am now in another chapter of this healing journey here in Kho Phangan, the island built on rose quartz, the crystal of love. I have now found a center that has treated people with cancer and other life-threatening diseases. This sadly comes at the cost of 6000 USD per month, and I need to be here for at least 3 months in order to heal. This place is called the Pyramid Centre. You can find testimonials of people who have healed cancer and other health problems. Back in the UK, it would have cost a lot of money for the NHS, which is massive profits for the big pharmaceutical companies, just from 1 person having cancer. This disgusts me that people profit from people making profits from cancer.

In the UK, before coming on this trip, I spent every penny I earned and saved, along with maxing all my credit cards in order to heal my body from disease. I had changed my diet to plant-based organic food, which costs an absolute fortune! I was also taking many supplements and paying to see a private homeopathic doctor in London, as the NHS had stopped funding for holistic medicine.
During my time healing, I was also working full-time in the travel industry, running a home and looking after my daughter, no wonder I wasn't healing! I was too busy looking after others and putting them and my career before myself. I am now learning to put myself first (I was a chronic people pleaser), in order to heal my mind and body of this cancer.

I am now having to go long-term sick from work, leaving my family and friends back in the UK in order to stay here and continue my journey of healing. So now with none of these people here and with no distractions, I can focus and rest.

I am also currently juicing and eating raw food daily. I am having specialized lymphatic drainage massages and many healing therapy sessions, which has helped me release a lot of the emotional pain that contributed to cancer. What I am doing is resulting in a reduction of breast and lymph node swelling.

In order to help me continue this healing journey out here, at the Pyramid Centre in Thailand, I am going to ask for help from my family, friends and strangers. This has brought me to my knees, shattering every last ounce of pride I had, believe me, I was full of it. For those who already know me, I was never one to ask for help, but always the first to offer mine.

So now I have written this as part of my journey, to ask you all for help, to donate to my cause. I will be attempting to do written and video blogs throughout my healing. This is so everyone can see where and how all their hard earned money for donations are helping heal me from cancer and learning more about holistic treatment.

So I urge you to look into your heart and listen to what speaks to you. Every penny donated to this cause or every time someone shares this page helps. Your money will go toward to price of the Pyramid Centre and the cost of living out in Thailand while I recover.
From the bottom of my heart and soul, I am eternally grateful for even taking the time to read this.
All my love, Kirstine.
