Monrovia High School's robotics team "The Kings and Queens" desperately needs your donation! 

For the second year in a row Monrovia High's robotics team the “Kings and Queens” has earned a spot to compete in the FTC World Robotics Championship Tournament to be held in St. Louis on April 22-25.  After a grueling season of competitions only 128 of the nearly 4,000 FTC robotics teams around the world have qualified for the World Championship, and of that 128 only 41 have qualified for two years in a row.  

What the team has accomplished is remarkable, but they won't be able to go to St. Louis and show what they can do without your We need your help to get the team to the competition.  The cost to send the Kings And Queens and their robot “Your Highness” to St. Louis is over $12,000 for the entry fee, airfares, hotel, materials and shipping costs for the robot.  Any donation, large or small, will help us toward that goal.

Please help with whatever you can.  The Kings and Queens have helped shine the spotlight on Monrovia as a place where great things happen and great people live.  They have encouraged countless young people to pursue their interests in science and engineering.  And they have truly helped lived up to the Monrovia High's motto "The home of scholars and champions."  Help us spread that message to the rest of the country.
