I am opening this GoFund Me with the hopes to be encouraged and supported into an opportunity that will establish a life long career. An amazing opportunity has been offered to me, to become apart of the Douglas Elliman team here in Houston.

For those who do not know what Douglas Elliman is, it is one of the most elite and luxury real estate brokerages in the world. The brokerage specializes in luxury real estate all over the world. I took a leap of faith and strolled into their office here in Houston, and asked for a shot from their Senior Growth Manager, and she agreed to give me a shot. They normally do not accept agents without specific credentials, but she said she sees something in me and wants to give me the opportunity to excel.

She believes in my drive, my potential, and has found a spot for me in the company as an agent apart of their Luxury Residential Leasing team. The reason I am seeking funds is to pay for my brokerage fees which are $2,400 for the year. I also have MLS and HAR fees (mandatory real estate fees) which are around $600. Securing this incredible once in a lifetime opportunity requires I pay these fees so I can begin my career.

I'm asking for contributions towards this opportunity, it was a very tough year for Keon and I, Keon was laid off about seven months ago. Then two weeks after while ubering to supplement income, he got into an accident which totaled our only vehicle. God has provided for us, and many wonderful people stepped in to assist us through this time. This opportunity to join the Douglas Elliman team is an answered prayer!
