Kenya Africa Mission Trip 2024

Hello there, I'm Scotty Hopkins. For those who don't know me, I have been an ordained Deacon @ Woodland Community Church for the past 12 years now. One of our key roles as a follower of Jesus is to serve the Kingdom of Heaven and make disciples of men. Participating in a mission trip is just one way to reach out a hand of friendship and introduce an unbeliever to Christ.

With this being said, I have made this a matter of prayer and I believe that God has specifically led me to go on this outreach to assist in the further construction in Kenya, Africa at the Fiwagoh Orphanage. Fiwagoh is home and school to over 300 children in the care of Pastor Benson, his wife Florence and staff.

The trip will be from July 5th-15th. While there, we will assist in finishing a new school and lend a helping hand anywhere that's needed. Your prayers and support would be greatly appreciated as I fulfill this vision that is in my heart. The cost of the trip is estimated to be around $3500 per person. I strongly believe that the Lord will surround me with people who will support me both with prayer and financial support. I know that when the Lord guides, he also provides. I ask you to consider partnering with me in this missionary outreach to Africa.
