My Panama Mission Trip 2018

My name is Kenton. I am in the 8th grade at Ephesus SDA Academy. 2017 marks the year that my school has been in existence for 120 years and I am apart of this rich heritage.
Every year the 8th graders of my school go on mission trips and this school year is no different. My school will be traveling to the country of Panama (Republic of Panama) in March of 2018.
This Panama Mission Trip will allow me to:
* Build a Christian Education Development Center
* Provide VBS & Sabbath services to area churches
* Expand my appreciation for peers of different faiths and ethnic backgrounds
* Tour the Panama Canal and cities of David, Panama and Boquete.
I am requesting your support in two areas. First, I am asking you to pray for me--that my attitude and service will be pleasing to God and sensitive to the new culture, and that my outlook on Christianity and purpose in life will become clear in some aspect of service for God and others.
Secondly, I'm asking for your financial support as a sponsor. I am responsible for raising the funds to cover the costs for airfare, transportation, lodging, meals and painting materials. I know that to be a missionary, I must have the support of others. I am asking you to be a part of my support in this endeavor. Any donation will be greatly appreciated. Checks can be made payable to Ephesus Academy. Please place my name in the note section of your check. Donations must be sent on or before December 18, 2017 to assist me with my airfare. However, should you need additional time to donate monies, I will be accepting your love offerings (check/money order) until Friday, February 16, 2018.
I need your support to prepare for this trip of a lifetime. Your prayers and donations will cover a 12 day mission trip, Air-fare, hotel, 3 daily meals, materials, insurance, excursions, and a t-shirt.
Please continue to pray for me during the trip and upon my return, of course, I will be eager to share with you the events from this trip, and how this experience has affected my life.
