Kenny's Journey

On 1st April 2016, at 18 months old, Kenny was rushed to hospital with a stage 3 cancerous brain tumor (Anaplastic Ependymomma). After a life-saving operation to drain the fluid that had built up on his brain and another to remove the tumor, he undertook 6 months of chemotherapy. Unfortunately the chemo was unsuccessful and the tumor has returned. After having more surgery Kenny will most likely need a 3 month course of proton beam therapy which is only available in America. As the NHS only cover part of the costs we are looking to raise the rest of the money so that the family are able to stay together during his time of treatment.
