Hi! I am Keith Greco's wife, Michelle. We have been married for 8 years. We have been good friends for over 23 years. Keith is not only my honey, he is my best friend, my lover and the one I want to spend my life with. We have conquered many difficult situations together, in our 8 years of marriage, that have made us stronger and we fall more and more in love with each other. Keith has put many positive and loving imprints on the hearts of others. He helps others without anything in return. He is loved by many people and I am so proud to be his wife. I am asking for your help, for your prayers and support to help him fight against this stinking Lung Cancer. Keith was recently diagnosed with Small Cell Lung Cancer. This cancer is non operative and is very aggressive (stage 4). He had a MRI on his head and a PET scan done on his whole body. The good news, he doesn't have the cancer in his brain. The PET scan shows the cancer is in his bones (his hip, spine, his ribs and elbow), it has spread into his lymph nodes and in his lungs. Basically, the cancer is growing rapidly throughout his whole body. He had a radiation treatment on his hip. The cancer has made his hip bone very fragile and it could break easily. His Cancer Dr is hopeful, that the radiation treatment will kill the cancer in his hip bone and help elevate some of his pain. He is in constant excruciating pain throughout his body 24-7. The Cancer Dr was straight forward with us, in explaining the results of the two scans and how bad the cancer is and how fast it's growning. The Dr told Keith, he basically has 11 months of life left, with doing his Chemotherapy treatments.....but... It's truly up to God and his will. Keith is going to fight this cancer with everything he can do. The Cancer Dr suggested beginning the Chemotherapy treatments A.S.A.P. Keith will start Chemotherapy a few days after Christmas. He will have 3 days of treatments, back to back for 1 week, then he will have 3 weeks off from treatments amd back to the 3 days in a week. After a few treatments, Keith will have another PET scan done, to see if the cancer is shrinking and his pain should not be as bad. In the mean time and hopefully, before Keith begans the aggressive chemotherapy treatments and can not travel. He would like to go to Florida and to L.V.. to visit and meet some of his other family members. He also would like to be able to help financially for some other family members to be able come visit him in his home. He will also need money to cover his travel, food and motel expenses. He needs to drive to Truckee and/or Quincy for his treatments, Dr apts. and other treatment options available to him. He is greatly appreciative for any amount of money donated, prayers and any positive comments left in his comments below. Thank you for your help, your support, your constant prayers, encouragement and all the LOVE to him.
