Keep our air clean and covid free
Together, we can keep our essential workers and the people they serve safe from COVID - 19.
With the recent release from the CDC stating that COVID-19 droplets can remain airborne if proper ventilation is not present for over an hour, we have realized that a new danger has presented itself. With winter fast approaching, opening the windows in our homes and day programs is no longer an option to increase ventilation and bring in fresh air. Also, our furnaces are not effective ventilation systems as described in the CDC release. So, we must act quickly to ensure that our team and the people we serve get all the protective equipment they need to keep them safe.
With that said, we reaching out to our friends, and the families of the people we serve to donate the cost of one HEPA Air Purifier for their son or daughters home. The cost of the Purifiers are $400.00, and every dollar goes directly to purchasing them. If $400.00 is outside of the budget, we appreciate any amount that our supporters can give.
