Kd's Going to National Bible Bee

One day while watching "Little Big Shots," Kaydee looked at me woefully and asked, "Mama, what am I good at?"  I told her she is balanced and good at many things.  Sadly, she said, "So I'm not really special."  It broke my heart!

She is a smart little girl who loves church and the Bible, so when we heard about the National Bible Bee, I thought this would be a great Summer activity.  It is a lot like the National Spelling Bee, but instead of spelling words, she studies God's Word.  Her age group must memorize 595 verses by the November contest.

Kaydee studied very hard all Summer and took the exam in August to see if she would qualify for the national competition.  It was so hard, I worried if she would make it (they only take  360 kids).  Not only did she qualify, but she placed 18th in her age division!

Now we are EXCITED but unprepared.  Suddenly, we need to come up with air fare, hotel costs, food for several days, etc. in a very short time.  Please help us by sponsoring Kaydee so she can compete on a national scale as she memorizes God's word.  She has worked so many hours, it would be a shame if we couldn't go because we couldn't afford it.
