Troi sapo ka mbushur 5 vjet, ndërsa po përballet me një gjendje kronike inflamatore dhe autoimune, e lidhur me çrregullimin e mikrobiomës së zorrëve. Inflamacioni i vazhdueshëm dhe niveli i lartë i endotoksicitetit në organizmin e tij po ndikojnë drejtpërdrejt sistemin nervor dhe zhvillimin e tij neurologjik.
Kjo gjendje po e pengon Troin në thuajse të gjitha aspektet e jetës së përditshme. Ai ka vështirësi në komunikim, në përpunimin e informacionit, në përqendrim dhe në rregullimin e emocioneve. Vazhdimisht përballet me mbingarkesë shqisore, sjellje përsëritëse, lëvizje të pavullnetshme, shqetësim emocional dhe simptoma neurologjike që ndikojnë seriozisht në zhvillimin dhe mirëqenien e tij.
Si prindër, dhimbja më e madhe për ne është ta shohim djalin tonë duke luftuar çdo ditë, pa qenë në gjendje të na tregojë plotësisht çfarë po ndjen.
Trupi i Troit është vazhdimisht nën stres. Sistemi i tij nervor reagon sikur organizmi të jetë në inflamacion të përhershëm. Edhe gjërat më të thjeshta të përditshmërisë bëhen shumë të vështira për të.
Fatkeqësisht, kjo nuk është diçka që zgjidhet me një trajtim të vetëm apo me një operacion.
Rrugëtimi i Troit drejt përmirësimit do të jetë i gjatë dhe shumë kompleks. Our son Troi is trapped inside a body that is constantly fighting against itself.
At only 5 years old, he is living with a severe chronic inflammatory and immune-related condition originating from dysfunction in his gut microbiome. The extreme levels of inflammation and endotoxicity affecting his body are attacking his nervous system and disrupting his neurodevelopment.
He struggles to process information, communicate, regulate emotions and stay present. He experiences repetitive behaviors, sensory overload, involuntary movements, emotional distress, attention difficulties, and neurological symptoms that continue to affect his development and quality of life.
As parents, the hardest part is watching your child suffer while being unable to fully explain what he feels inside his own body.
His nervous system is under constant stress. His body reacts as if it is permanently inflamed. Even basic daily activities can become overwhelming for him.
This is not a situation where a single surgery or one treatment can suddenly fix everything.
Troi’s healing journey is expected to be long, complex, and multidisciplinary — involving neurologists, gastroenterologists, immunologists, developmental specialists, therapists, functional medicine practitioners, nutrition experts, and ongoing specialized care. His condition requires constant monitoring, individualized treatment plans, and long-term therapeutic support to help regulate the inflammation affecting his nervous system and development.
