The Malahat is one of the most deadliest highways in BC and something needs to be done to prevent another tragedy.
On May 24th, 2018 only 2 days after her grandpa passed away, Kayla - Marie Gibson was involved in a serious car crash on the Malahat. Only 19 years of age, Kayla was one of the primary bread
winner's for her family. Kayla is a bubbly, energetic young woman who now faces a long road to recovery. She will need multiple surgeries as she has broken her legs, hip, pelvis and has shattered her knees.
Kayla is currently in stable condition and will undergo her second surgery tomorrow. We are hoping to raise money to elevate financial stress and to support her during her recovery.
