Kayden's Story

With a heavy heart, I would like to share Kayden's story in Kendal and Cornealius's journey. On February 23rd, they found out their life was about to change; their first ultrasound had confirmed that in October Kendal and Cornealius would be adding a bundle of joy to their lives. The next nine months were surprisingly easy. Perfect check ups with a growing baby boy we would soon find out. October 16th Kendal headed to the hospital for delivery. After twenty four hours of labor, some complications led to an emergency c-section. Kayden Samere Tillman was born Tuesday October 17th at 10:02pm weighing 6lbs and 19.75 inches long. Just two days later Kayden was admitted to the NICU for low blood sugar. After rigorous treatments, procedures and surgery- Kayden continued to fight for his life. He was transported to Duke University Hospital for what was thought to be liver failure. Despite every effort made by all the doctors, the Lord called him home early Wednesday morning. Though Kayden is no longer here on earth, he has forever changed the journey for Kendal and Cornealius.
In this difficult time we are asking for donations to go towards Kayden's medical bills. Every little bit counts.
