Hi, I’m Patricka, as many of you know Katrina and Seth purchased their first home last august, excited to embark on creating new generational blessings for their family after an immense amount of hard work, sweat, tears and sacrifices they became home owners. Unfortunately many unprecedented events have made their first year in their home anything but easy. A blessing nevertheless but filled with numerous obstacles.

Upon believing a leaking toilet would be a simple fix with the opportunity to customize the bathroom, they were greeted with a rotting subfloor. Through further investigation Seth revealed hidden black mold now requiring gutting the back portion of the home. As they continued strive, work hard, and show their children hard work pays off, their dry basement (holding the kids play area, Katrina’s craft business, and laundry machines) flooded revealing a larger issue than gutting out the back portion of their 7 month old home. When they had placed the claim, the insurance does not cover the flood damage as the flood damage revealed the foundation of their home is bowing and will require the home to be lifted to redo the foundation.

While these issues present thousands of dollars they are responsible to pay, the fridge, dishwasher, and hot water tank broke, their 1yr old dog suffered massive hospital bills and health decline, all within the same few months.

If you know this family, asking for help is not a thing they do, but with the holidays approaching and they are still trying to provide their children with the best Christmas possible, having some the financial burden lifted would be a blessing larger than life.

If you wish to bless them, it will not go unnoticed, as a family who pushed through the pain and grit and blesses those they can, allow it to be reciprocated.
