On June 5th Kat was in a very serious car accident. Fortunately none of her injuries were life threatening but she has a long road to recovery ahead of her. Her face was hurt pretty badly in the accident with a broken nose and several stitches in her chin along with multiple other contusions on her face and arms. During the accident her hip became displaced and she also broke her pelvis. They were able to set her hip in place at Good Shepard before transferring her to Mother Francis in Tyler for the surgery to repair the broken pelvis. I have been informed it will be 3 months before she can walk again. With all of this said, even with insurance, she is going to have a lot of medical debt coming out of the hospital. Any donation helps ease that burden of hospital bills along with day to day expenses while she is out of work due to her injuries.
