Amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend Kathy Baarstad passed away unexpectedly on November 6, 2022, after a brief illness.

A longtime employee of Cherry Republic, Kathy’s dazzling smile was familiar to anyone who visited the company’s Glen Arbor campus over the past 12 years. As General Manager of the Glen Arbor location, Kathy made every daunting task look effortless — tackling every challenge with a can-do spirit along with a hilarious sense of humor.

Kathy was also deeply involved in her community, including her involvement at Glen Lake Community Schools and serving as current President of the Glen Arbor Chamber of Commerce.
