Cancer Sucks

My friends (& family), I have some news to share. I need prayers, lots of prayers. I have been diagnosed with colon cancer which has metastasized to my lung & pelvis. I'm going to have radiation, then chemo. I am a strong person & I am going to be fine; better than fine. But, I do have a tough road ahead & I need your support. Things have changed a lot, for the better, since I fought breast & colon cancer 8 yrs. ago. I'm in much better shape than I was then. However, this time I have co-pays for EVERYTHING. I've spent about $1000 in the first month. (CAT scan, biopsy, PET scan, new oncologist appt). Now, I'm having a 2nd biopsy & a port for the chemo. Please pray that I can keep up with all of the co-pays. I'm happy to pay...this is my life. I'm a fighter. I hope you will all remember me in your prayers. I will know more next week. I am ready to take on these rogue cells. I have cancer; cancer doesn't have me. I will not give up. Positivity is 90% of it. I just want anyone reading this to know I am going to be stronger, healthier, & more determined than ever before. No sadness, no doubt, no sympathy. I want joy, happiness, love, & most of all PRAYERS! Remember everyone in your life who is fighting or has fought cancer. We are brave, we are strong. We will persevere. God bless all of you.
