Many people in our community may not be aware that Kate has recently been diagnosed with aggressive, advanced breast cancer. Being Kate, the warrior that she is, she is ready for the fight of her life. As a loving mother, stepmother, and partner to Wade, this has been a huge shock for her and her family. Kate is currently undergoing 4 months of intensive chemotherapy, before she is able to have breast cancer surgery, and then will have radiotherapy.

Kate is a loving support to her friends, family and so many others in our community. Her business “Sustainability in Service” helps people who work in service roles, to sustain their quality of life while working in service to others. Sadly, as she is self-employed, Kate is currently unable to do this important work due to her breast cancer diagnosis. Kate’s partner Wade is also a self-employed builder. As he now needs to take on a primary care role for his children, and support Kate while she is undergoing treatment, he has also suffered lost income.

This page is an opportunity for Kate’s friends, family and community to show their love and support for Kate, Wade, and their family. The proceeds will support Kate to maintain her business while undergoing treatment. Proceeds will also help with her complete loss of income and help with large medical bills.
