Kash’s Birthday Fundraiser
Hello, my name is Kash Russell and my 18th birthday is looking a little different this year. If you asked me what I’d be doing for my birthday a few months ago I’d probably answer celebrating like any other birthday with family and friends, but now it’ll be more unique than just that. In early October of 2021, while taking part in my senior football season I unfortunately suffered a severe knee injury and have not been able to walk since. This injury will keep me from my last basketball season and out of school as of now. I have not been able to work part-time or do many daily life tasks without help. It will be months into the new year with therapy and at least 3 surgery’s (2 done so far) before I am on my feet again which will affect me going into college next year. My parents have come together so many times to help me through this process and have done a great job assisting me. I wanted to thank them in a bigger way than simply saying “thank you” so I am raising money to give back to them for the medical bills they’ve had and yet to come. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. Sharing and reposting would also make me tremendously thankful for you as I try and give back during these times.
