My name is Karl Amano and I'm a recent survivor of two strokes (Nov. 27 & Dec. 4, 2017) and a second heart attack (Jan. 4, 2018).

I was released after having been diagnosed with afib and having my previous stent replaced with 2 new stents after it was determined my afib caused my heart attack and two strokes.

I am recovering at home and numerous appointments with doctors are still to come along with cardio-rehab (which is not covered by insurance) and physical therapy.  I may be required to have an internal pacemaker/defibulator surgically implanted after wearing this temporary external monitor for the time being.

I currently am unemployed and the bills are starting to roll in. I was selling on ebay and paid my monthly health insurance using the sales I made.  Now the costs I need to pay has significantly increased and feel overwhelmed.

I am reaching out to family, friends and strangers for help. I would greatly appreciate any amount you can give and be forever thankful.  Also, if you could share this post that would be very helpful!
