In Loving Memory of Our Mom

As some of you may already know, my mom passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in her sleep on October 7th — which also happened to be my dad’s birthday. She was only 54 years old. We are completely devastated and heartbroken by this loss. There are no words to express the shock and pain we are feeling in this moment.

She was the most giving, humble, and loving person. She didn’t care for fancy things — she found joy in the little things, like dollar store finds and sparkly trinkets. What she truly cherished above all else was her family. We were her entire world, and now we’re left trying to figure out how to live in a world without her.

Our mom was everything to us — a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a friend. She is survived by myself, my brother, our dad (her husband of over 35 years and friend of over 40 years), her mother, her brother and his family, and her three adoring grandchildren: Hayden, Charlotte, and Kylie — who were the light of her life. Her loss has left an inexplicable hole in all of our hearts.

We’re reaching out during this incredibly painful time to ask for help. Any amount you’re able to give will go directly toward funeral expenses, lost wages for my dad and little brother as they take time to grieve, and the many unexpected costs of navigating life without my mom. Her absence affects every part of our lives — emotionally, physically, and financially. She was not only the heart of our family, but also my dad’s primary caregiver and transportation, as he is legally blind. Her loss has left us with an unimaginable void, and any support during this time means more than we can express in words.
