You know how they say, “it takes a village.” Well, the Kai Family is in a state of emergency when it comes to saving their home: April, Cody, Sierra (3), & Kenzley (1) need an amazing helping hand to stop flood waters from destroying their life & home that they’ve grown together.
The Kai Family lives in Eastern Oregon where widespread flooding has prompted evacuations, highway closures & emergency declarations.
Not even a full loop around the sun, their home was flooded before in March 2019. The family is out of options. They took a loan on their home for the previous flood, borrowed money from family & maxed their credit cards. “Back to sleeping upstairs in a full bed with all 4 of us” - April Kai
Do you guys remember that scene in Titanic when Rose & Jack are trying to share space on the floating door? x4 & in your home.
The family is in major need of tools to clean, fix, & tear up the floor. A contractor quoted them $40k that’s obviously not even possible. But with great determination & confidence they hope to fix their home themselves. They’ll need the funds to get a new shop vac, a dehumidifier, & water soak mats.
The flooding is now making its dreadful way into their daughters bedrooms.
They HAVE to find where it’s coming from ASAP before this happens again.
They do not have the funds to have an emergency flood people to come out. The lower level of their home flooded & the damage is very well done but could happen again at any time.
As a mother, wife, & friend, family to family, please keep them in your thoughts because they need this help more & more than they could ever express.
