Kado's Surgery

Kado is an 8 year old all black German Shepherd dog with a huge heart of gold, who unfortunately has a huge mass on his spleen. He woke up Wednesday morning happy and healthy, exercised with his brother Koda, and took a nap. Upon waking up, he was yelping in pain on his right side and we noticed his stomach protruding slightly. That's when we took him to the emergency vet, where a diagnostics test was ran, including a $1,600 vet bill for x-rays, blood work, abdominal ultrasound and more. This has obviously been a challenging time for many people financially, but we would really appreciate any help with these bills. It is estimated to be between $6,000 to $10,000, depending if he may need blood transfusion(s), etc. during surgery. All of the funds raised will go towards Kado's surgery and recovery. Attached you will find the vet bills with all the information. We truly consider Kado the heart and soul of our family. This has been a devastating morning. In advance, we really appreciate any help, kind words, or good energy anyone gives out for his recovery and well-being. Thank you to everyone who has always loved our animals and been so positive and helpful in our journey and lives. We have always and will always appreciate it. We will also give updates as we receive them as he is going into surgery this afternoon. The vet said we brought him in on time and hopefully has a clean surgery. Thank you again.
