Kachenda Pre school Project

Hi Everyone 

I’m here in Tanzania and I am volunteering at the Kachenda School for the next 6 weeks.
On my arrival to the school last Friday I was really heartbroken to see that this school has basically nothing. There are 20 children all aged 2-5 with one teacher. There are no tables and no supplies to learn with other than some chalk/blackboard and exercise books but yet most don't even have pencils. The inside is pretty bleak and not welcoming or comfortable for any child to have to learn or play.

Seeing this I decided to set up this Go Fund Me page in the hope that I can raise some funds so I can purchase items out here and take to the school myself. Sadly it is known here in the city within the poorest of schools/orphanages that any financial donations go straight in to the wrong pockets with no supplies reaching the children that need it the most. I’m aware it’s tough times for so many of us so whilst I have a target of  £1000 any donation would be greatly received if you are able to. I would like to get the below items and will be sourcing and buying the items myself while I am here.

Mixed Stationary 
Card/Paper
Paints/Paint Trays
Craft materials
Toys (Lots)
Giant Play Mats to play sit on 
New swings for the play area
