My mom is 85 years old — strong, loving, and until three months ago, completely independent. She’s the heart of my world. But after suffering a severe stroke, everything changed.
She was left paralyzed on her right side. Through her determination and the little therapy we can afford, she’s managed to move her leg slightly — a small miracle that gives us hope. But progress is painfully slow, and without consistent therapy, she risks losing what she’s fought so hard to regain.
Her insurance doesn’t cover the level of care she needs. I’ve used nearly all of my savings trying to keep her therapy going, and her small retirement only covers two days a week. I am her only caregiver and doing everything I can — but the costs have become overwhelming.
She deserves to live her golden years with dignity, not decline. She survived so much in life — including years of hardship and abuse — and all she wants now is the chance to walk again, to stand, to feel strong once more.
Every donation, no matter how small, goes directly to her rehabilitation and home care — helping her regain independence, mobility, and hope.
If you can, please help me give my mom the chance to heal.
And if you can’t donate, a simple share means the world to us.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️
