My children!!

I am a single mom and have been raising my children mostly on my own. They had visitation with their father but that changed after he got remarried. His new wife convinced my oldest that I (mom) hate her and don’t want her (my oldest) in my life and 3 summers ago she (step mom) convinced my oldest to move in with their dad. We were dealing with bais din then and we (myself and the daynim) underestimated how far the step mom would go to take my child from me. The step mom made my child believe that she (step mom) is going to be her mother now and everything that I do is to hurt my children. The step mom wouldn’t let me talk to my child until bais din forced her (step mom) to allow and during Covid time I went 8 weeks without seeing my own child even though the dayanim were ordering her dad and step mom to allow it. Last February (2021) my child moved back in with me and the Dayan decreed that I am the residential parent again and that all of my children can not be around the step mom since she was emotionally abusive until she goes for an evaluation. Dad and step mom were not happy with what the Dayan said so they took me to court last summer. It’s been almost a year since they first took me to court who ruled that we need a new Dayan. They have dragged everything out and even drove to the Catskills to take my child out of camp early completely scarring the child who wanted to stay till the end. They again restricted my access to my child.

I had to retain a lawyer and used every penny of my tax return to pay her along with the thousands of dollars I borrowed from a good friend.

They have been pushing things off and dragging everything out but my lawyer (I replaced the original lawyer since she messed up a lot) has finally got the court to order the bais din to decide where my child should live. (Child moved back home this past February).

The child has not only been thriving in my home, this child has come out of the shell they were in since the dad got married.

I have mediation (hopefully the last) this week and my lawyer can’t represent me if I don’t pay her over $8000 that I owe her.

I am asking you to please help my children! I’m a single mom trying to protect and help my children who still have visitation with their dad but only 1 goes to dad for it. My children need me to fight for them since the dad and step mom seem to have unlimited resources and will do anything to get my children and stop paying child support (dad hasn’t paid child support for my oldest since she moved out and claimed the child on his taxes against what the bais din said and has left me with thousands of dollars less then I was supposed to get).

Please help my children!
