Help for Chris & Dylan

It is with extreme heartache that our dear friend, Meghan Brookes, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday night(December 19th). She was only 37, and leaves behind a husband, Chris, and son, Dylan(13), who cherished her. 

Meghan was one of the funniest people ever to have graced this earth. Her face lit up whenever she had something clever to say, and her laugh was downright infectious! No matter the day, Meghan’s down-to-earth, genuine love, care and compassion could lift you up and make you feel a million times better. 

Meghan had a particular soft spot and deep love for animals ever since she was a child. Meghan also never hesitated to help out anyone in need, without a question, even while struggling herself at times.

 Meghan’s husband Chris is also currently undergoing another round of chemo. After being in remission previously with clean scans for hodgekins lymphoma, about a week after receiving the covid vaccine, a lump reappeared and they received the devastating news that his cancer is back. Chris has started Chemo at the end of November and has a long road ahead of him, now without his partner by his side, while raising his son alone.  

Meghan was truly unlike anyone we have ever known, and we can’t imagine this world without her in it. Our hearts are shattered. She was such a bright light, and it’s unimaginable that she is not here with us now. 

We love you to the moon and back Meghan. Your sparkle will shine within us for infinity ✨
