Gerald's road to recovery

Hello. My name is Melissa. I am creating this for my sister, Krystle, and my brother-in-law, Gerald. No one likes to ask for help but sometimes when life knocks you down, you need a little help getting back up.

Krystle and Gerald have two beautiful kids. Colt is 12 and Kira is 6. They also have a 6-year-old husky named Kilo. On October 3, 2025, around 9pm their world was turned upside down when a car struck the motorcycle Gerald was on. Thank God, he is alive, but he was seriously injured. His back is broke T4-T7, his neck is broke C7, his ankle was sprained, and he has an injury to his arm. A witness to this accident said it was bad, but we are so thankfully it wasn't as bad as it easily could have been. My mom and I have been caring for their children while Gerald is in the hospital, and my sister has been by his side through it all.

While he is doing ok considering, he does have a long way to recovery. He will be out of work for 2 months or so. As most of us can relate, his paycheck helps keep his family going. My sister is also missing time out of work to help take care of him. This is one of those times that no one thinks about, and no one is prepared for. Bills don't stop when someone is injured. With bills growing, medical expenses coming in, and Christmas around the corner, you can imagine that the stress levels are high. This is why I am here. I want my brother-in-law to focus on getting better. I want my sister to not have to stress trying to care for everyone and figure out how to make ends meet. Whatever you can donate, we are thankful for. Even if it's just a prayer. We can use prayers as well. Please share this with everyone you know.
