My name is Karen McDonough I am raiseing money to help my sister in law get a new wheelchair for my nephew Ryan Crompton. He has various disabilities which are as follows:-
Heres ryans medical diagnosis & problems
1, Cerebral palsy secondary to grade 3 hypoxic ischaemic encephalopathy (meaning he has only 2% of his brain thats not damaged MRI founding)
2, Dystonia-(uncontrollable movements no muscle tone)
3, Gastroesophageal reflux symptoms with severe gagging
4, Bulbar Dysfunction-nil by mouth-fully gastrosomy fed (meaning food was filling ryans lungs when he was on oral feeds)
5, Intermittent inspiratory stridor-ryan makes loud noises vocally when he's having breathing difficulties.
6, Kidney Stones in both kidneys
7, recurrent chest infections
8, Scoliosis of his spine 50/60% curved
9, respiratory management-ryan has oxygen when ever he's asleep day & night due to sleep apnea (stops breathing without oxygen due to airways collapsing when ryans asleep)
