Justice for Bodie

Déductible des impôts

Justice for Bodie. Bodie was picked up by Caswell County Animal Control in Yanceyville, NC on April 5th. A concerned citizen found him on Willie McCain Road in Yanceyville.

Bodie arrived at the animal shelter with a gunshot wound to the chest and shoulder on the right side of his body. He also presented with healing road rash on his rear knees, rear feet and testicles consistent with being dragged on a hard surface as well as scars on his muzzle from what appeared to be previous abuse.

The Animal Protection Society of Caswell County is asking for donations for Bodie’s veterinary care. We are also raising money for a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this horrific abuse. Currently the Caswell County Sheriff’s Department has no information to investigate this horrific crime.

The Animal Protection Society of Caswell County has worked since 1991 to prevent cruelty to animals, to shelter lost and abandoned animals, to provide low-cost spay/neuter services, to encourage pet adoption and responsible pet ownership, and to prevent the spread of rabies. We receive $130,000/yr from the county to run the shelter so we rely heavily on donations to care for our animals, keep the utilities on and pay our employees who care for these animals 7 days a week.
