To All Minneapolis Music Fans & Friends,

As many of you know, local vocal legend Julius Collins has faced several serious challenges over the past few years, challenges that have kept him from doing what he loves most: singing.

Julius is making progress and is on the road to recovery, but it will take time before he’s able to grace stages across the Twin Cities again. During this period, the financial and emotional strain has been significant for both Julius and his wife, Cheri.

If you’ve ever been moved by Julius’s voice, whether with The Combo, Greazy Meal, the TC Jammers, Sons of Almighty, or one of the many other bands he’s been part of, we’re asking now for your help. This is a chance to give back to an artist who has given so much to our local music community.

No donation is too small, and every contribution is deeply appreciated and will go directly toward helping Julius and Cheri get through this difficult time.

We are also in the process of organizing a benefit concert featuring special guests and friends from the Minneapolis music scene, so please stay tuned for more details.
