50 Mile Run for Cindi's Hope
Donation protected
Help me to make a new life possible for 100 kids at Cindi's Hope Rescue Center in Nairobi, Kenya. Cindi’s Hope was established as a safe haven where abused, abandoned and orphaned girls can be housed, fed, clothed, educated, and their basic physical and spiritual needs met. The least I can do is run to help.
I will be running the Pacific Crest Trail 50 Mile Run on May 9th, 2015 to benefit Cindi's Hope . This race is the farthest I have ever run, and will take 9-13 hours to complete, with a 15,000 ft. elevation gain.
Cindi's Hope will be moving this year to a new facility that will house 300 kids, and she has a goal of taking in as many girls as she can in 2015. I would like to raise enough money to provide uniforms, books and supplies for 100 kids. The cost for a uniform is $25, and books and supplies are $20, which amount to $45 per student. My goal is to raise $4500. Your donation goes directly to Cindi's Hope, which is a registered 503-C. Please consider sponsoring me in this race, as I run toward the goal of raising $4,500 to benefit the lives of 100 of God's children.
You can also find Cindi's Hope on Facebook for more pictures and information on her work in Kenya.
