Joshua Strickland Medical Fund

Josh Strickland is the guy who you go to for help, he is not the guy that asks for help. He is also the first one to show up in a time of need so its time for all who know and love him to step up and help him and his family. Josh has been battling Ulcerative Colitis for roughly 6 years and has seen countless doctors and tried multiple treatments to get it under control. It all came to a head Monday 8/27/18 when Josh had to be admitted to the hospital in really bad shape. Over the past 6 years of battling this disease, he has exhausted his sick time as a full-time firefighter at Apex Fire Department. Not only did he work as a full-time firefighter but also as a chimney technician as Smoke Alert, a Crossfit coach at  Crossfit Contrivance,  and works/volunteers at Fairview Fire Department.  He is the sole provider of his household with his wife Julia and 3 kids.  Josh not only has his loss of income to worry about over his recovery time but also his medical bills and expensive new medication. That medication will hopefully give him a better quality of life and get him back to work but there is no timeline on when that will be. We want Josh to be able to focus on getting better and not stress about his financial situation so lets step up and help him!
