Jordyn’s Journey to Beat AML

On July 1st, my 2 year old niece & best friend, Jordyn Negron, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), a fast growing form of cancer of the blood and bone marrow. 

Jordyn is the sassiest 2 year old, with the very best personality and smile that lights up any room. She has broken the mold of what a kid with cancer should look and act like. She has been keeping her family positive with her unwavering strength, demeanor and energy. 

Jordyn is receiving treatment at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, with at least 4 rounds of intense chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant as part of her treatment plan.

No child or family should have to endure this, but the reality is that our warrior is and our lives have been forever changed. I am starting this fundraiser because the last thing a family battling cancer should have to worry about is finances. Money raised will help with medical costs not covered by insurance and Jordyn’s college fund. Any money leftover will be donated to the other children receiving treatment at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
