Jordan's Comissioning/Dress Uniform
Donation protected
So Jordan (my little from Big Brother Big Sisters, 13 year match) has made it! He is graduating with an Engineering degree from UW-Madison in 4.5 years (21 credits a semester) while working a 0.5 FTE and completing Marine ROTC (one of eight selected from over 300 applicants). He is truly an remarkable kid and has an amazing story. He is the kind of guy you want defending our freedom and he will be commissioned on December 22nd.
Officers do not receive receive a uniform stipend. The dress uniform is often a gift from family as an acknowledgement for an officer's hard work. In March, he will go to The Basic School and will start his specialty training in September. If you are willing and able, it would be cool if we could be his extended family and show our gratitude and appreciation for his hard work and sacrifice.
