Brain Cancer Treatment Fund

My name is Trey Groom, and I need some help. One of my best friends has been diagnosed with grade 3 astrocytoma, which is a very aggressive form of brain cancer. His family is helping in every way they are able to, both financially, and emotionally, and have been doing an amazing job, which cannot be understated.

But, if any of you have ever been exposed to a similar situation, you'll know that the cost for something like this is exorbitant, and is an unreasonable burden to place on any individual person. This is why we're asking for some help from you. If you've never met Jordan, imagine the most genuine, good-hearted human being you can, and that's him.


I've played music with him for years, and have grown both as a musician, and a person beside him. He absolutely does not deserve the hand that he's been dealt, but the optimism that he has faced this situation with is absolutely awe-inspiring, and will continue to influence me for the rest of my life, and this is the only small way that I can think to help him. Watching what he has, and will continue to go through over the next several months is soul-crushing, and unfortunately optimism can only get you so far, so any assistance you can provide will not only help us to financially win this fight, but will give him the reassurance that we are out here, and are at his side throughout this ordeal, and that support, and the hope that comes with it is priceless.

Any amount gets us closer to where we need to be, and will go miles to showing Jordan the incredible support system that I know he has in place. The impact that Jordan has made on not only my life, but everyone close to him, cannot be put into words. I would not be where I'm at today without him, and I want to repay that to him by asking as many people as my sphere of influence can reach, but that scope is unfortunately extremely limited, so I'm asking that if you can't donate (and even if you are able to), please share this to everyone you can.


I firmly believe that if we work together, in whatever small ways we can, we can make as much of an impact on Jordan's life during this horrible situation, as he's had on all of us.
