TRANSPLANT FUNDRAISER!

So many have asked how you can help and for more details regarding my end-stage kidney failure. There are many details I will share, but one of the primary means of getting on the transplant list is making sure the cost of the procedure and the recovery medication is fully covered.

Thanks to your generosity, I’m no longer short of that initial goal. However, we have adjusted it. 

Because we have met that initial goal, now we are considering how we will supplement income while I am recovering from the eventual procedure. We have been told to expect to be off from work for at least three months. We’d love to have a safety net available to us while we recover and not worry about finances in the meantime. We have adjusted our goal to reflect that. 

One of the things I’ve been instructed to do is host a fundraiser. I will deploy many means of raising funds to meet our goal, but the first thing I thought to do was host a benefit concert for myself. That’s the plan!

I need to share the gravity of this moment with you all. If I don’t get a kidney transplant quickly, my risk of mortality continues to increase. If I don’t meet this goal, this could be a curtain call. I hate to think that way, but it’s just reality. Reality can be difficult to swallow, but I’ve accepted that everything is in God’s hands. This is the gift He has blessed me with, and I fully believe that it can be what ushers in the means for my healing. ❤️‍

Proceeds will go to my Kidney Transplant Fund. We will also have other means to donate at the show. There will be limited-edition merch for sale at the show as well.
