Join Us: Aid for Our Mother's Battle

Update from daughter-We just want to thank everyone for the donations, prayers and thoughts during this difficult time. I wish I could say things were improving and while the chemo has shrunk tumors in some areas, unfortunately there are 2 new tumors. We are going back to Houston to MD Anderson May 12 for a pet scan!!! Please pray for us! The expenses continue to pile up!!! Yall it breaks my heart to not be able to do more to comfort my mom! Dear friends, life has a way of throwing us curveballs at the worst possible time. We’re reaching out to all of you with a heavy heart and in an urgent plea for help. As most of you know, our loving mother was diagnosed with small cell carcinoma cancer in May of 2023, tragically only 3 months after burying her mom, our grandmother, Naomi Lane, who passed away from the same cancer. I'm saddened to say that after going into remission for almost two years, the cancer has returned, spreading quickly and more aggressively than ever. This has shaken us to our core and it is what we feared more than anything.

Our mother has always been a beacon of strength, compassion, and love for us. She has always been there for anyone who asked, offering a shoulder to lean on or a listening ear, and giving endless support to those in need. Her selflessness and resilience have inspired all who know her. It breaks our hearts watching her go through this daunting journey, but I am proud to see such courage.

We are determined to do everything we can to ensure she receives the care and comfort she deserves. Our mother's medical expenses from the last two years are mounting, and the financial burden of this situation is overwhelming.

We would love to ensure that her days are as painless and peaceful as possible. We are asking for your support in helping us to raise funds to help cover her medical expenses and to provide her with the care she needs.
