After an agonizing 11 months of searching, on Saturday, 5/30/26, we got the worst news a family can receive. Our daughter, our sister, our friend, Melissa had been located deceased.

From the beginning, we knew something was wrong. This was out of character for Melissa to disappear, there was no other explanation other than foul play. We believe, and have always believe that Melissa's life was unjustly taken from her and we are demanding accountability and answers.

The purpose of this gofundme was originally to aid in Melissa's recovery, but since the individual who found her wishes to remain anonymous, we have decided to use these funds to offer a reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
