We are seeking donations on behalf of Hal Sadler, the San Diego Sock Man. He created this charitable outreach, which is focused on helping the homeless meet their immediate survival needs and ultimately get off the streets (much the same as he did) and back into a more productive life.

He regularly (when possible) gives out Bombas socks, water, and soup to about 200 homeless people each week. The San Diego Sockman, Inc., recently became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization. Plans to expand the organization’s role to include hygiene kits, blankets, underwear, and hopefully long-term, mobile shower and restroom platforms, which will be able to serve various locations populated by the homeless.

The SD Sockman is socking up the less fortunate with love.
