This GoFundMe is for Natalie Williams, organized by her circle of friends--her Village--as she continues her courageous journey battling with cancer. The battle has also been incredibly costly for the Williams family.
If you know Nat, you know that GIVING is her love language. She’s not one to ask for help, however, so we’ve had to twist her arm pretty hard to let us set this up. We know many of you want to provide comfort and care but don’t know how to go about it.
We want to honor our friend and give back to her even a fraction of the generosity she has shown all of us and the world. We have set a goal of $7,500, just to serve as a jumping off point for all of you who have asked, “what can we do to help?” Let’s demonstrate what a community can do to help one another, how a little bit can go a long way. Give from your heart to honor her heart and show her how much of an impact she has made in the lives of others!
A few thoughts from Pam:
Being a friend of Natalie Williams is a very special thing. I am grateful and blessed to have been friends with her for almost 40 years. We met when I was 19. I have watched her grow into a loving mother and wife, and one of the most giving and caring people I know. If you’ve had the privilege to be around her you will know this to be true.
She and her husband James have instilled in their children this value of giving. They focus every year on helping others, both in small ways and large ways by gathering groups of people to help out.
Nat has been living with chronic illness since even before she was finally diagnosed with Crohn’s disease many years ago. Yet she has managed to remain positive and hopeful over these past two years even as the chemo and surgeries to treat the cancer have sapped her energy, limited her ability to work, and depleted the family’s savings. She has one more treatment to go until the tests which we pray will show she’s cancer free! Thank you for supporting Nat in whatever way you can.
