Johnny Shaw Fund

On October 6, 2018, the Shaw Family (Lori, Lauren, and Johnny) lost a father, and the BPD lost a brother.   The Shaw family was devastated by the sudden passing and have been coping with this void for the past two years.  Just recently, Billy and Lori's son, thirty-one-year-old Johnny, has been diagnosed with Stage Four Advanced Melanoma. The melanoma has metastasized and spread to his bones, spine, lungs, liver and spleen.  Johnny recently decided that he was no longer seeking treatment and wanted to focus on quality of life.  Johnny has chosen to enter hospice care and focus on being home with family and friends. 

Johnny's sister Lauren has returned from Texas to help her mother Lori with providing care for Johnny at home.  Needless to say, Johnny's medical bills have been adding up and will continue to grow as the Lori and Lauren continue to provide him care. We are looking to raise some money to help the Shaws with any current and future bills that may come their way.  Billy Shaw was a proud member of the BPD family, and the BPD always takes care of family.  So in this time of need, let's all stand up: family, friends, and community, and give the Shaws a hand.
