John W. Eley, Sr. Medical and Home Health Care

Our father John W. Eley, Sr. (85) has been a father, brother, son, uncle, husband, and minister of music in the Roanoke-Chowan area for countless years. On April 29, 2018, he suffered a massive hemorrhagic stroke on the left side of his brain while waiting to play the closing hymn for the Sunday service at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church. While God has delivered him, he continues to have right side weakness, neurological and cognitive deficits, respiratory challenges, and is non-ambulatory.  As such, he continues to require around the clock care, skilled nursing care, CNA care, PT, OT, medical supplies, and assisted living supplies.  His medical and custodial care requires significant monetary support to supplement the direct care provided by his children.  This is where you can show your love and support.  Your gifts to this fund will go directly to support his medical and custodial care.  Your support will literally touch him physically.
