John Neves Recovery

My name is Ericka and I'm trying to raise funds to help my dad, John, in his recovery and attempt to regain mobility of his legs. My dad is a Christian man, loving father/ grandfather and a valued member of society. He has always been the first person to step up to help others whether it was lending a helping hand, making donations or organizing benefits for those in need. On September 29, 2023 he was crushed between 2 cars during a repo and rushed to our local Level 3 Trauma Team and into immediate surgery to try to save his life. The woman who hit him was an acquaintance whom he had previously tried to help by financing her this car. She has pleaded guilty to intentionally hitting him. Unfortunately, she did not have any type of insurance and his VA insurance is denying many of his claims including the EIGHT surgeries he had during his 43 day stay in the hospital. He is now working daily to regain full mobility of his legs but it's going to be a very long road. Any funds raised will help to give him a normal life again and maybe give me a chance to dance with my daddy again.
