John Garrison

Many of you know our dear friend, Johnny (John) Garrison. He has been a dear friend for over 40 years. He has been Danny’s painter for that entire time. A week ago Johnny was in a terrible fire. A propane tank exploded and engulfed him in flames. He has burns over 40% of his body…head, face, back and arms. He is at the Augusta Burn Center, in ICU, for a minimum of 2 months. He is the sole provider. As I told his son and brother, Johnny couldn’t be more of a family member if his last name was Kinley. We have done family funerals together, birthday parties, Christmas parties. We have discussed politics (he mostly agrees with me)! We have discussed religion (he is very Godly) I;ve told him my upstairs is his if it is ever needed.

So, while Johnny is in the hospital, and who knows how long after, I feel the need to be a hand up for him.

Many of you have asked what you can do, so I’m beginning this GoFund me to assist his needs.

For total transparency, I will transfer this money into an account set up for him. When he can speak, I will ask him what bills need to be paid, and I will make sure that happens.
