John Acker Stroke Recovery

My name is Tristen Acker and I'm once again coming to you for my wonderful father in law John Acker. As some of you know he suffered from a major stroke in November. Since then he has been able to come home which we are so thankful for but the journey ahead is still long. He goes to therapy multiple days a week for speech and occupational. He is still struggling with learning to talk again and has very little function of his right arm. John has been the sole provider for his family for nearly 30 years and his devoted wife Nicole has raised their kids and helped him run their businesses. She has stepped into being his full time caregiver since his stroke. He has been approved for disability which will help tremendously, but that doesn't start for a few more months. They could use some help getting through the next few months bills and getting some food on the table. We appreciate all the love and support that everyone has shown over these past few months.
