My husband’s father, Joel, passed away in Guatemala. Mera and his brother Donaldo (Chici), both of whom live in Berlin, have not seen their father in eight years, meanwhile financially supporting their family in Guatemala consistently. We had planned a visit to his family, but unfortunately fate decided otherwise and his father passed away before the trip could take place.

I am reaching out to ask for your support to help Mera and Donaldo travel to Guatemala, so they can say their final goodbyes and assist with funeral arrangements. As his family does not have any resources and his hospital stay already took away their savings, any contribution, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated to help cover their flights and funeral expenses.
