On Christmas Day 24 years ago Joe and his family entered their first battle against cancer when their 4 month old daughter was diagnosed with leukemia.
This past August she turned 25 and is a proud survivor of cancer. Battle won!
But the war is not over. Recently Joe, proud father, son, and brother, was diagnosed with sarcoma. A new battle to beat cancer has begun for him and his family.
Sarcoma is a rare cancer and requires specialty treatment. Three weeks ago Joe completed 5 weeks of intensive and painful radiation in Seattle. On December 11th he will have major life threatening surgery.
As Joe’s brave battle for survival continues the medical costs, costs to get to treatment including hotels, food, and gasoline traveling back and forth from Seattle have become burdensome.
