Hello, my name is Jochebed. I am 7 years old. I was recently diagnosed with Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma, which lies in the lining of my chest and lungs. I began treatment as soon as the doctors diagnosed me on 5/06/2022. I fought through a collapsed lung for over 30 hours until I was able to get a tube surgically inserted into my chest to alleviate the fluid build-up. I have a 42-week-long treatment plan for chemo and radiation. I will undergo a surgical procedure to remove any large tumors before beginning radiation. The estimated treatment time is a year.
