Joanne Lindberg Acute Leukemia Fund

Hello friends! On June 7th 2022 I received a diagnosis of acute leukemia. 2 days later I was admitted to the University of Washington where I received treatment for my pneumonia and initial chemo. This type of cancer requires daily to every other day lab monitoring and blood product transfusions. Due to the acuity of my illness it requires that we stay near the UW and the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA). As a result we have experienced overwhelming hotel/housing expenses to remain in Seattle, along with medication and medical bills. This treatment plan will be going through the fall, requiring us to stay in Seattle for future chemotherapy and ongoing monitoring. Your support and help is appreciated by me and my family.
