Tim's Kidney Transplant & Support

14 days before Christmas, Tim went to the doctor because he thought he had the flu.  After a few simple tests Tim was sent straight to the ER, within hours he was admitted to the hospital with both kidneys functioning at only 5%.  During his 9 day stay at the hospital, tests and a biopsy showed chronic kidney failure due to untreated Hypertention (High Blood Pressure).  Tim is due for a kidney transplant.  He is on the donor list and ideally we are hoping to find a living donor match in 2015.  He is currently receiving outpatient dialysis treatment 3 times a week for 5 hours a day which aids his kidneys until he receives his transplant.  The process of receiving dialysis is physically and emotionally exhausting.  Doctors have advised him to limit his activity.  Therefore, he is unable to work at full capacity.  All the support that you are able to give Tim and his family is valued and appreciated, so that he may receive the best care possible.  All funds donated will go directly to the family to help alleviate the financial stress so that Tim can focus on his recovery.  Every dollar counts and no donation is to small.  Thank you so much!  Please keep them in your prayers as this chapter of their life is very frightening and difficult.
